Neural models of Path Integration

Path integration has long been an attractive behaviour for modelers because the necessary computations are well defined (being simple maths). Goldschimdt add to this literature with a new PI model that borrows from, refines and augments previous models to produce, they claim, a system that captures animal performance and is resistant to sensory noise.
