Insect inspired algorithms: a review

Insect inspired navigation algorithms continue to be a worthwhile research topics in robot navigation because there is still a premium on low computation algorithms that don’t need high resolution cameras. These factors allow for reduced weight and reduced cost, which are both valuable engineering assets. This paper is a very useful review that brings us up-to-date with insect inspired navigation algorithms and does  good job of categorising them too.
